My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the SEND system and secure the best outcomes for your children and young people with SEND.

I am based in Hampshire but I am able to work across other areas of the South.
Primarily I support parents with accessing support for their child or young person at a SEND Support level as well as with EHCP navigation. This can be tailored to suit your individual circumstances, as a one of consultation or as a longer involvement working towards a specific outcome.
I also offer advice and support to schools, providing advice relating to your responsibilities to SEND, reviewing the SEND offer in the school, mentoring of new SENCO's or writing applications and referrals on your behalf.
I have worked for Local Authorities for 10 years in a range of SEND roles, both Operational and Strategic. As a senior leader I worked closely with schools, professionals and parents to improve services for Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
My passion stems from my time growing up with a sister with Special Educational Needs and seeing the impact this has had on her journey into adulthood. This lived experience influenced my interest in education and throughout my work I am motivated to get better outcomes for children and young people than those that were available to my sister.
This interest led me to study for a BA (Hons) degree in Education Studies, where a large portion of my studies focused on Special Educational Needs. As well as looking at a wide variety of Special Educational Needs in detail, I also gained a solid understanding of the legislation that led to the 2014 Children and Families Act. Multi-disciplinary working and aspirations are weaved through my work, with a goal to improving the outcomes for Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs as they move towards adulthood.
Using my vast experience in Local Authority leadership and my passion for working together I am able to offer a range of services that are flexible to meet your individual needs.
